The State Material Reserves Administration visits Alliance Healthcare, Czech Republic's leading medicine distributor
This week, the State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) visited the Prague headquarters of Alliance Healthcare, a leading wholesale distributor of pharmaceuticals in the Czech Republic. SSHR Chairman Pavel Švagr was welcomed by Jan Rohrbacher, CEO of Alliance Healthcare, to discuss the strategy for ensuring the availability of key medicines for the Czech healthcare system.
One of the main topics of the meeting was the new national antibiotic reserve, which was created in response to repeated drug supply shortages. SSHR, in collaboration with Alliance Healthcare, secured 138,000 packages of phenoxymethylpenicillin, which is crucial for treating bacterial infections.
"Alliance Healthcare is involved not only in the storage of these supplies, but also in their dynamic replacement to prevent the expiration of medicines," said Jan Rohrbacher.
The collaboration between SSHR and Alliance Healthcare is an important step towards strengthening the stability of the pharmaceutical market and ensuring continuous access to life-saving medicines.
