UniChem Group established
The UniChem Group is founded by Ernest Skues to offer wholesale medicines to independent pharmacies in the U.K.
Alleanza Farmaceutica established
The wholesale pharmaceutical retailer Alleanza Farmaceutica is founded in Italy by Stefano Pessina.

Di Pharma established
The wholesale pharmaceutical retailer Di Pharma is founded in Italy by Ornella Barra.
ES Ecza Deposu established
Alliance Healthcare Türkiye traces its origins back to 1987, with the founding of ES Ecza Deposu (Pharmaceutical Warehouse).

Alliance Santé established
The Alliance Santé group is formed through the merger of Alleanza Salute Italia and two French pharmaceutical wholesale distributors.
Hedef Ecza Deposu established

The founding of Alliance UniChem follows the merger of the UniChem group and Alliance Santé.

Hedef Group enters a strategic partnership with Alliance Unichem, leading to its rebranding as Hedef Alliance.

Alliance Boots merger
Boots and Alliance UniChem merge to form Alliance Boots.
Alliance Boots rebrand
After the merger of Boots and Alliance UniChem, the wholesale companies under Alliance Boots were rebranded as Alliance Healthcare.

Alliance Boots becomes the sole shareholder
Alliance Boots acquires all shares of Hedef Alliance, becoming the sole shareholder.
Walgreens Boots Alliance established
Building on a strategic partnership that began in 2012, Walgreens and Alliance Boots merges to form Walgreens Boots Alliance, the first global health and beauty enterprise rooted in the pharmaceutical industry.
