Bob Mauch is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cencora, Inc. Since transitioning into the role in October 2024, Bob is focused on building on Cencora’s exceptional decade of growth, driving a customercentered approach, and leading the organization’s 46,000 team members across more than 50 countries in exemplifying our purpose of being united in our responsibility to create healthier futures.

Bob began his more than 30-year career in pharmaceutical care as the founder of Xcenda (formerly Applied Health Outcomes) which provides health economics as well as strategic and reimbursement consulting to pharmaceutical companies. Bob joined Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) in 2007 when the company acquired Xcenda.

During his tenure, Bob helped lead the company’s transformation to a united, global provider of pharmaceutical-centered healthcare solutions, driving the company’s continued focus on customer experience, innovation, and digital transformation. Most recently, Bob held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer where he directed the company’s commercial transformations, building industry-leading customer partnerships to ensure access to life-saving pharmaceutical care for patients globally.

Bob serves on the board of directors for the Covenant House of Pennsylvania, is the immediate past chair of the Healthcare Distribution Alliance, and is a member of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research Society, American Society of Managed Care Pharmacy, and the American Pharmacists Association.

Bob received his Pharm.D. from Mercer University and his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical science from the University of South Carolina where he pursued a focus in health economics and outcomes research.
