The Highlights Symposium is organized by:

Does one size fit all?

Every day, we work with numerous medication dosages, based on scientific research to establish safety and effectiveness. However, in practice, patient characteristics like gender, age, weight, and pregnancy can significantly influence how medications work. For instance, women may respond differently to the same dosage as men. How do these differences affect medication safety and effectiveness? Why do they occur, and how can you address them in your work?

This symposium will explore how diverse populations and patient characteristics impact medication use. You'll gain practical tools to apply this knowledge in your daily practice, improving outcomes for your patients.
