Tim Cernohous
Senior Vice President and President, Retail Pharmacy and Alternate Care
Tim Cernohous is Senior Vice President and President, Retail Pharmacy and Alternate Care for Cencora, Inc. As a member of the enterprise leadership team, he leads distribution services and solutions for independent pharmacies, corporate partners, and alternate sites of care.
Tim brings more than 15 years of pharmacy leadership experience spanning health systems, commercial operations, and community-based care. A fierce advocate for the business and profession of pharmacy, he has been known to put his lab coat back on and volunteer at his local Good Neighbor Pharmacy from time to time — a reflection of the hands-oncommitment to patients and pharmacists that has defined his career.
Prior to assuming his current role, Tim served as SVP & President of Community Retail and Long-Term Care Pharmacy at Cencora beginning in February 2024. Before that, he held the role of SVP, Commercial Advancement and Operations within Cencora's Health Systems and Government Services business unit, a position he stepped into upon joining the company in 2023. Earlier in his career, Tim spent nearly a decade at Essentia Health where he held operational leadership responsibility for ambulatory pharmacies, as well as EH’s Specialty Pharmacy, Prescription Service Center, Medication Therapy Management, and Patient Assistance programs.
Tim is on the Innovation Board for NCPA and represents Good Neighbor Pharmacy as a board member of NACDS Retail Advisory Board. He served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Pharmacist Association and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Minnesota.
