- Enhanced digital capabilities to support pharmacy procurement: New capabilities build on existing tools within Cencora’s procurement ecosystem, including solutions that support product ordering, marketplace access, order optimization and opportunity identification. Located within one dashboard, pharmacy teams can now view real-time analytics and intelligent purchasing insights together, enabling cost savings and faster, data-backed decisions.
- Integrated technology to decrease time to therapy: As physicians and staff report spending 13 hours per week on prior authorization paperwork, the enhanced Cencora Benefit eServices supports real-time benefit and prescription decision workflows, including electronic prior authorization and real-time prescription benefit capabilities. These solutions are designed to help providers and pharmacy teams access patient-specific coverage, formulary and prior authorization information within existing workflows, helping reduce manual effort and support faster access decisions.
- Access to partners across the pharmacy ecosystem: Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions is also integrating strategic partnerships to complement its in-house capabilities and accelerate the delivery of new solutions. As part of this approach, Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions is collaborating with Plenful, a leading AI workflow automation platform built for pharmacy teams, expanding support to health systems with technology enabled solutions across several key areas including 340B automation, rebate management and pharmacy-related workflows. In addition, Cencora has combined its benefit verification and electronic prior authorization network with Plenful’s automation platform, helping health systems streamline intake authorization workflows, support regulatory and compliance optimization, reduce manual work and accelerate patient access to care.
